@ Deepak, I've been a supporter of this guy when he started his stint but soon it was clear as daylight the 'class' of the individual here. He has got a very poor reputation, thanks ONLY to himself, and its not something he can dry clean. He is going to do his reputation no harm by acting the good boy or by dancing the jig because thats not much. ;)

I completely agree with your comments on Sree'Santh.' He has been an extremely poor brand icon for Kerala. Look at IPL-3 and his so-called performance. If he captains Kerala, I am sure we will possibly see more slap-gates live again. A horse is a horse is a horse. So are donkeys. With BCCI's final warning hanging over his head, I am sure Sreesanth's days are numbered in cricket, if he doesn't learn quickly from his mistakes. Look at his attire. He resembles a Kathakali artiste. A bunch of friendship bands, multi-colour wrist bands... Sad. We are reminded of Vinod Kambli.

Sreesanth hasn't been a good ambassador to the state, I agree. But we malayalees, seem to be the ones making the most fun of him. Even in the return avatar, when he has tried to be decent, jokes are floating around making him look like an ass. Hmm, I would support him if he is made the captain provided he behaves like a captain :)

All the best to Cochin Cobras or Cochin Tuskers or whatever it is.
And in case of Cochin, I'm sure there wouldn't be any question of divided loyalties. The fans would scream for the Kerala team. We malayalees have a way of grouping under the "Kerala" umbrella.
